The main difference between Europeans and Africans is the level of development. While Europeans seeking independence does not need to establish themselves from scratch. Their government was already established. They already had an established economy. People were united and have a definite aim like the French who exactly knew where the government lacked and what needed to be changed. Moreover, France needed freedom from the rule of oppressive king and not any nation that have colonized them.
